Random Act of Kindness Challenge

This past week, I had the joy of celebrating my birthday, surrounded by so much love and honestly, it put me in a reflective, grateful mood heading into this weekend.

Because this weekend, our family and friends are gathering to celebrate something even more special: Finn's second Heavenly birthday.

It's hard to put into words what these celebrations mean to us. Instead of a day marked by grief, we choose to make it a day marked by love, remembering Finn's light, laughter, and the joy he brought into every room. Every year it reminds us just how much good can grow out of loss when we let it.

This year, we want to invite all of you to be part of that celebration too, no matter where you are. In honor of Finn, we're asking everyone to take part in a Random Act of Kindness Challenge on August 9th. It doesn't have to be big or complicated. Buy coffee for the stranger behind you in line. Leave an encouraging note for someone having a hard week. Let someone merge in traffic with a smile instead of a huff. Whatever it looks like for you, we just ask that it comes from the heart.

We truly believe kindness ripples outward in ways we can't always see - one small act touching a person who then passes it on to someone else, and so on. That's exactly the kind of legacy we want to build in Finn's name.

If you take part, we'd love to see it! Snap a photo of your act of kindness (or the smile it brought) and tag us on social media so we can watch this kindness ripple spread together. Tag me on Instagram - @travelswithkirsten using the hashtag - #BeKindforFinn

Thank you all, as always, for being part of our family's journey - for celebrating with us, grieving with us, and choosing kindness with us. Finn would be so proud of the community we've built in his honor.

With love and gratitude,
Kirsten
