It Starts With One Trip… Then Suddenly You’re Planning the Next

I’ve just wrapped up a meeting in Winnipeg and still can’t stop thinking about our wonderful barge cruise last month (READ ABOUT IT HERE), which, of course, means the travel planning bug has hit again. This time, we’re mapping out a month-long UK adventure this summer with stops in London, the Cotswolds, Edinburgh, and the Lake District. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them, just hit reply!

My Favorite Products This Month

Laboratoire Amae Skincare: I discovered this skincare line at a Parisian pharmacy and I am loving it. The moisturizing is next level. The only catch? I have to go back to Paris to restock. There are worse problems to have.

Zulu Water Bottle: Keeps water cold all day and you can refill it without removing the top. This spends each day at my desk, because I’m trying to be better about drinking water!

Aerless Vacuum Bags: A total game-changer. I used these for the first time in France and I will never go back. The suction device fits right in the palm of your hand and compresses everything so you can pack more! GRAB YOURS HERE.

What I'm Reading

Happy Place by Emily Henry: A heartfelt, funny novel about a group of close friends reuniting at their favorite vacation spot - even though the couple at the center of the group has secretly called it quits. A great light-hearted romance read.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo: This is one of the books that was on Finn’s bookshelf and I’m trying to read them all. This fantasy book reminds me a bit of A Court of Thorns and Roses and the group dynamics alone make it worth picking up.

Signs by Laura Lynne Jackson: I’m re-reading this book about connection, loss, and the signs that our loved ones send us. A meaningful read, especially for anyone navigating grief.

What I'm Watching

The Parisian Agency on Netflix: A French reality series about a family-run luxury real estate business in Paris. The properties are stunning, the family dynamics are entertaining, and it will make you want to book a trip immediately - which, honestly, is very on-brand for this newsletter.

Paradise Season 2 on Hulu: Still hooked. No spoilers. Just watch it.

Survivor on Paramount+: Guilty pleasure alert. This was Finn’s favorite show and I’m loving season 50 which has brought back favorites from seasons past. I hope one of my favorites wins!

As you can see, I have too many streaming services. If you have figured out a smart workaround for managing multiple subscriptions, please reply - you will be my hero.

Where I'm Heading Next

We are heading to Chicago for the dedication of Finn’s Little Library and library collection at his elementary school. It will be a special day reconnecting with friends and the community that meant so much to our family. We are really looking forward to this.

Can you believe it’s May and summer is right around the corner? I’m ready for it!
